Using PDFMaker in Microsoft Office (Windows)
The Windows version of Acrobat X automatically installs a set of tools into the Microsoft Office suite of software . These tools are known collectively as PDFMaker.
The appearance and abilities of PDFMaker vary depending on your version of Office and which Office component you are working with. In Microsoft Word 2010, it installs tools that let you do the following:
- Create a PDF file of the current document.
- Email the current document as a PDF file to an address of your choice.
- Do a Word mail merge and save the result as a PDF file.
- Send the current document to a list of people so they can comment on it.
- Convert the document to PDF and open it in Acrobat for comment.
